The way Org-roam is described at a high level on the website and in the manual, it isn’t obvious in what way it improves over stock Org mode with a handful of customizations. I have used Org to create a "personal Wiki/web of ideas” in the past. I’m not saying roam doesn’t have any value to offer, but I just can’t tell. I’d like to know in what substantial ways my life would be different using it in lieu of just using Org. And whatever the answer is, that really should be written down somewhere in Org-roam’s introductory material!
