[SOLVED] ID was not found

Hi there,

I use headline IDs quite often (via org-store-link), especially in non-org-roam files. Recently, I moved a headline to a different file, while keeping the ID. However, when I click a link to said headline a window pops up displaying the following message:

Why does it not recognize the ID anymore? Even when I create a new link to said headline, the ID is not recognized. I am I missing something?

Found the answer myself. Coping IDs between files makes org-mode lose track (unless done with refile). Solution: Add relevant files to org-id-locations and then scan with org-id-update-id-locations.
