Automatically generating ID at top of doc?

I’m a little confused here…does org-roam-v2 automatically create and insert a properties drawer at the top of the page, including the ID? If so, under what conditions does it do it automatically? Like when saving an new org file for the first time?

If the properties drawer + ID is not automatically created, is there a way to do it automatically? Besides calling org-id-get-create manually?

Yes. It’s at the end of capture process. So if you use org-roam-node-find or org-roam-capture, you should see the ID automatically added.

Ok, so if I’m creating a new org file, It would better to use org-roam-node-find or org-roam-capture than simply an empty file.
