Convert preexisting org note to org-roam type

So I have a few files in plain org with few of them having a few property already set how do I add it to my org-roam file?

And is there a way to save a file with just the name without the date of creation preceding its name?

Move your Org files to your org-roam-directory, add an ID to each of them, and call M-x org-roam-db-sync.

For the file name question, adjust your org-roam-capture template. Alternatively, you can just save your org file with the file name of your choice. Nothing special here.

For clarity, use the org-id-get-create function either on a file or within a header to register a file. The database will autosync.
