# How to revise Org-roam Daily template?

Hi there,  
I am trying to figure out how to update the default org-roam daily note template.  
I have figured out that I need to modify the “org-roam-dailies-capture-template”, but I can’t work out how to do that.

What I’d like to do is to have the daily note open with the title at the top, as now, and then have two headlines pre-inserted, \* Things to do today, and \* Notes

Can anyone help me with the configuration?

It’d be best to wait for [#978](https://github.com/org-roam/org-roam/pull/978) to be merged, since it implements customisations for the entries and the headers.

Any update on the timing of #978 for merge? I check the github page every couple of days, it looks like the code is complete?
