# How to remove the CAPTURE word from the buffer name?

I just want simply the file name only(look at centaur tabs). BTW this only happens on created notes but if i search it again everything is fine

Type C-c C-c (CAPTURE in the name in the buffer means you are in the middle of a template capture).

THe buffer is transitory. ONce you type C-c C-c this buffer disappers.

Or is your issue that the name of this temp buffer contains “CAPTURE-”? That name comes from org-mode. I would grep the directory and find there it is defined (if that is what you want to do).
